**Location: Carlisle or Crewe - full time on site**

**As a Logistics Support your main responsibilities would be**:
The role will provide support to the MP team who are in the process of reviewing and transforming the Materials Planning function within DRS. The primary responsibility will be to provide logistics and admin support for various workstreams who are designing, implementing, and standardising our stock and inventory.

Working alongside the Workstream leads to assist in stock coordination, and use of the stock control system, hands on pick, pack despatch of materials and the administration of stock moves on the system and between depots. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate an understanding of stock and inventory and must have a good attention to detail and excellent IT skills.

The type of support required will include the following:

- Teamwork: Work to the plan owner / technical lead and in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Written: Revise data into a common format utilising strong Microsoft skill, including excel.
- Technical: Ensuring all recorded information on system is accurate and auditable Reliable: Deliver on time and to the required standard and detail

- Performance objectives will be set in accordance with the appropriate policy.
- Stock and Inventory background is a bonus.
- Travel to other depots may be required.
