We are recruiting for a fully remote Senior Front End Developer who can take ownership of the frontend codebase, influence the technical direction, and help guide/mentor our more junior members.
You will be expected to take a leading role in the architecture of the frontend system. Working alongside other frontend and backend developers, you will contribute towards and be responsible for the overall structure of the codebase. You will work closelywith our UX designers, bringing the core product development and the customers' needs together. An eye for detail, high quality code and team leadership are all pivotal in being successful in this role.
Our clients environment is a C# /.NET Core environment but this role is focused on Front End development and ideally you will have a knowledge or experience working in C# environments but this is not a back-end focused role, the focus is fully front end workingwith React & JavaScript

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Take ownership for the front-end architecture, developing a flexible and well-structured codebase
- Work with our back-end architects/developers to optimize the platform for maximum speed, scalability, and user experience
- Lead the team to develop new user-facing features, build high quality, reusable code for future use
- Mentor junior staff instilling best practices

**Experience**:

- A great team ethos and can do attitude
- Comprehensive understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5 and CSS/SCSS
- Comprehensive understanding of the React framework, ideally with TypeScript and Redux
- Commercial knowledge around.NET/.NET Core (C#), developing for cloud-based environments and relational databases
- Experience with any of the following is an advantage: Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, Redis
- Proficient with automated testing
- Excellent communication and team skills
