**The Role - Gatehouse Security Officer**

AM Services Group are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our Security Team at our client’s leading global specialty chemicals company in Trafford Park
- 42.5 hours per week paid at £12.00 per hour and once trained the pay rate increases to £17.12 per hour

**Duties/Key Responsibilities**

To provide professional security services to our clients, maintaining the security and safety of their premises and people by ways of monitoring, patrolling and surveying the building and their assets.
- You must be flexible and able to work in a multi-service team and can work under your own initiative.
- Work closely with the Contract Manager to ensure that AM Support Services offers exceptional customer service at the highest standards
- Complete daily security tasks, including the Use of client software / Use of client security CCTV systems
- Carry out routine patrols on site
- Locking and unlocking premises
- Dealing with deliveries of a variety of substances and ensuring paperwork is correct and is sent to the correct department
- Take accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork to a high standard - including reporting in detail any incidents occurring whilst on duty
- Operating telephone switchboard
- Carry out any reasonable task requested by the client or Manager, if you are trained to do so.

**Skills Required**:

- Valid SIA Front Line Licence
- Valid UK driving licence
- CCTV experience is ideal but not essential
- 1ST Aid at Work Cert preferred but not essential
- You will need to evidence your honesty and reliability and always maintain a sense of pride in your professionalism in delivering excellent customer service.
- Full 5-year checkable work history
