- A key element of our fundraising is a network of community charity shops across Great Britain, from small boutiques to large furniture shops. Our online offering has seen rapid growth over the past two years too, with significant turnover during the Christmas peak, success in the launch and promotion of new goods, and the launch of a second-hand online shop. We also envisage rapid further expansion in the coming months.**About the role**:

- As an Apprentice in our Upcycling Workshop, you’ll play an important part in helping us to delivering our strategy that’s designed to grow our sales of second-hand goods, increase our community impact and raise income to tackle the housing emergency.- You will be instrumental in supporting the Workshop Manager and local area shops to maximise the workshop’s financial and community contribution to support our work, via the effective management of volunteers, stock and premises. A great opportunity to deliver efficient and safe workshop guidance and instruction, along the way, you’ll be able to learn and develop new skills whilst increasing the community impact the shop has on upskilling local people.**About you**:

- To succeed, you’ll need some experience of general DIY, creating bespoke and shabby chic items and upcycling, plus knowledge of safe working practices. An understanding of charity retail and the second-hand goods market would be useful too. Well-organised and great at communicating what’s required to run a workshop efficiently, you’re as comfortable delegating work when required as you are managing and motivating others.- If you don’t have a Level 2 English or Maths qualification, you will need to work towards achieving a Level 1 English and Maths qualifications during your apprenticeship and before taking the final assessment.
- If you have a Level 1 English and Maths qualification, you will need to work towards achieving a Level 2 English or Maths qualification.
- If you already have a Level 2 English or Math qualification, you won’t be required to study English or Maths during the apprenticeship.
