Assistant Practitioner Speed Team

To be responsible for the planning and prioritisation of own workload and activities following the direction and guidelines given by the Senior Team members.
- To undertake ongoing assessment of young people and implement programmes of care or intervention following guidance from the Senior Team members.
- To work within guidelines given by the supervising manager.
CLINICAL
1. To undertake assessment of clients through direct and indirect observations.
2. To carry out assessments and interventions as directed by the supervisor
3. To be a member of the appropriate multi-disciplinary team providing services to the young people, under the guidance of the Senior Team members.
4. To communicate sensitive condition related information to service users, their relatives and other professionals as directed by the supervisor. The context for this may be the client’s own home
5. To implement programmes of care or intervention as directed by the supervisor.
6. The post holder will have a personal duty of care for Health Board equipment and facilities
7. To be responsible for the planning and prioritisation of own workload and activities following the direction and guidelines given by thesupervisor.
8. To be capable of working in clinical situations which require concentration and which may involve distressing or emotionally demanding circumstances or where there is risk of verbal or physical aggression
9. To maintain and update client records in accordance with Health Board and professional guidelines
10. The post holder may be required to demonstrate their own duties to others
11. To receive regular clinical supervision in accordance with professional practice guidelines
