We are looking for a Senior Agent to join our defence sector, which includes a contract at a facility near Reading. The role requires experience in managing and delivering Civil, Structural and Architectural works (with M&E interfaces) on complex projects.

The roles require Security Clearance at SC level with some to DV level, therefore the ability to obtain clearance is essential.

**Responsibilities**
- Review contractual agreements and develop scope and design, working methods, processes, procedures, programme and forecast costs with the Project Manager, Construction team and Suppliers.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and maintain regular communication
- Manage and assist in addressing speedy resolution of TQ's and design change.
- Leading key work packages on site.
- Ensuring nuclear safety and quality requirements are to the highest standard.
- Closing out and handing over completed work packages to Commissioning.
- Performing against a tight schedule and budget through effective management of deliverables, quality requirements, risk and opportunity management.
- Creating an inclusive environment, leading and motivating others to achieve and deliver successful project outcomes.
- Ensure that key deliverables within each stage of the project are being achieved, to the highest standard on a consistent basis, safely and with due regard to nuclear safety requirements.
- Develop and review programmes and forecast budgets, assess actual programme and productivity achieved and review weekly, taking action where appropriate, and reporting any changes to the Project Manager and Commercial team.
- Be conversant with supplier contract conditions and assist management of suppliers account with the Commercial team.
- Ensure that inspection and test plans, risk assessments and method statements for the control of the works are reviewed, approved and adhered to.
- Set the highest example for Health and Safety Requirements.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Experience Managing and Leading Construction Teams.
- Good Understanding of Engineering Principles.
- Strong experience of solving technical problems.
- Knowledge and understanding of construction contract law and forms of contract through experience and formal training.
- Extensive technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices. Particularly in Civil, Building and Architectural disciplines.
- Computer competence (MS Word, Excel, Document control system).
- Relevant CSCS Card.
- Training in Health & Safety and Environmental management.

**About you**
- Experience in delivering large complex civil, mechanical and electrical projects nearing completion desirable.
- Preferably 10+yrs experience of working in a highly regulated environment.
- Experience in leading multi contractor and multi-disciplined teams to deliver a common goal is desirable.
- Demonstrable stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to thrive in pressure situations is essential.
