Weighbridge Operator

We are currently recruiting for a Weighbridge Operator to support the smooth running of our weighbridge near Knaresborough. We turn Waste into Energy and we receive waste from all areas of North Yorkshire on a daily basis. In this role you will manage andco-ordinate all waste deliveries to site. A key part of the role is maintaining accurate tonnage records for reporting purposes therefore attention to detail is key. In addition we are looking for an individual with strong customer service and administrativeskills who can work effectively under pressure. Previous experience of working on a weighbridge is not required - full training will be provided.
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday
Week 1 - 7:30 - 15:30 Week 2 - 13:00 - 21:00

Rate of pay - £13.59 Basic on a 3 months contract.

**Also need to work 1 Saturday (time and a half) and 1 Sunday (double time) per month**

**Role Responsibilities**
- Operation of the weighbridge
- Assist Commercial team in accurate recording of all inbound and outbound transactions for reporting purposes
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Operate management systems
- Record and maintain all weighbridge transactions
- Supplier/ haulier/ vehicle setup in weighbridge systems
- Managing tonnage information and statistics
- Co-ordinating tipping with Tipping Hall staff
- Accurate completion of required site paperwork
- Litter picking and general site cleaning

**The Person**
- Excel and MS Office skills
- First class, accurate administration skills including database and systems manipulation
- Interpersonal skills at all levels
- Extremely good organisational and planning skills with ability to problem solve and prioritise workload with minimum direction or supervision
