**OUR INTERNSHIP**
Our 12 week Summer Internships, based in Aberdeen, are a great opportunity to get a taste for working at TotalEnergies and get hands on experience within your field of interest. The programme’s design is multifaceted, ensuring that you receive the opportunities and support needed to develop on a personal and professional level. These include learning workshops, networking opportunities, training sessions and if operationally viable, a site visit.-

As a TotalEnergies Intern, you will be joining our Exploration & Production Branch to help play a part in our journey to net zero.

**THE POSITION**

Managing the environmental impact of our operations is a core commitment of TotalEnergies. The Environment team sit within the wider HSE function and aid the business by developing processes to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company rules. The Environment discipline is also responsible for maintaining the Environment and Energy Management system, this allows the business to operate whilst reducing its impact on the surrounding ecosystem. Reducing our carbon footprint is another key element in TotalEnergies ambition in being a world-class player in the energy transition, our function facilitates the emission reduction plans for the affiliate and manages the various roadmaps associated with the energy transition.

Some of the activities you will be involved in will include:

- Assessment and implementation of Energy & Emission Reduction initiatives
- Analysis of environmental performance and contribution to our continual improvement plan
- Application of the actions set out in our Environment Roadmap

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who enjoy being challenged and embrace opportunities. Our core values are at the heart of everything we do and it is important that you identify with them. We are looking for students who are:

- In their penultimate year of their undergraduate degree (graduating in 2024) Studying Environmental, Chemical or Process Engineering
- Available to work in our Westhill office, situated just outside Aberdeen, during the summer months (June to end of August)
