We are open to accepting a less experienced band 3, who is looking to progress from a B3 to a B4 with a supervised action plan and competencies to be completed in order to progress to a B4 within 9 - 12 months, if successful.

The base is Horizon unit (Horsham Hospital) and the post holder will occasionally be expected to work at the other site. The service covers two hospitals/Intermediate Care Units (ICUs); Horizon Unit and Crawley Hospital. The service currently covers five days a week but there will be the introduction of 7 day working in the future.

As a member of the team you will have the opportunity to receive support from other therapy colleagues, receive clinical supervision from registered therapists, participate in the in-service learning programme, develop your practice, relevant to the team, participate in competency development through the Calderdale Framework, support development of other staff outside of your professional group, assist in supporting service development and shaping the future clinical practice of the therapy team.

We are looking for someone who likes working with people and is reliable, flexible and adaptable in their work. Previous experience as a Therapy Assistant or similar is desirable, and applicants should have experience of delivering care and/or rehabilitation to older people with various needs.
