**We have exciting opportunities to join our leading-edge Graduate programme for BIM Coordinator to start from September 2023**

This role is a coordination role supporting the Area Building Information Modelling (BIM) Manager. Responsible for assurance and reporting of BIM information. Also responsible for supporting construction team with model and drawing development.

**About the project**

The HS2 Main Civils Contracts include both Lots S1 (Euston Tunnels & Approaches) and S2 (Northolt Tunnels). Scope of works includes twin-bored tunnels (TBM driven), SCL tunnels/audits, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, utilities diversions, earthworks and the construction of site compounds.

**Security Vetting**

HS2 requires SCS to undertake security vetting on all staff to the UK Government Baseline Personal Security Standard.

Area Central - North Acton, London

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Coordination, assurance and Implementation of BIM in accordance with the SCS BIM Execution Plan.
- Coordination of supply chain Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDP's) to support the development of the Master Deliverables List to ensure supply chain BIM deliverables in line with the Employers Information Requirements.
- Supporting the Area BIM Manager to ensure the correct activities are assigned to the supply chains Task Information Managers.
- Providing Coordination reports of the interfaces between engineering disciplines / design and construction / temporary and permanent works design activities, through the BIM process.
- Coordination and development of the design to Construction through BIM processes such as 5D/ 4D to ensure consideration and optimisation of the opportunities for sustainability, digital engineering, buildability, carbon, logistics, industrialisation designing for maintenance and health, safety and welfare during construction and in-use.
- Run Project BIM Clinic's to enable BIM task team members to deliver their responsibilities in relation to BIM.

**Costain's Graduate Development Programme**

The programme will focus on helping you to grow your personal and leadership skills, alongside business and of course, the technical skills you will learn day-to-day on the job.

The programme is delivered in a variety of formats throughout the 2 years and will allow you to establish a network of contacts that will help and support you through your first 2 years and beyond.

We expect some of our graduates to rotate after a period of 8-12 months, to another project/sector of the business to fully understand the depth and breadth of the services offered by the company.

Our line managers are fully supportive of the Graduate Development Programme and will be involved in helping you along the way.

In addition to the programme, we offer mentoring and support in every area of work, as well as a structured training programme to enable graduates to work towards achieving Chartership.

Graduates may have the opportunity to work on a number of exciting and progressive projects around the UK during the 2-year period, in sectors including nuclear, highways, rail, water, airports and tunnels.

**About you**
- You will have or expected to achieve a good result in a relevant discipline, such as an Engineering Degree
- Knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations
- Preferable to have experience of industrialised construction
- IT proficient
- Work experience (desirable)
- Able to work accurately and appreciate its importance to the team
- A willingness to learn with appropriate instruction
- Organised and able to prioritise workload
- Must be a team player
- Experience of delivering presentations, talking in public etc
- The ability to thrive in pressured situations
- The ability to empathise and communicate with all people, regardless of their background or circumstances
- Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills
