Rosemary & Co are looking for an assistant Gardener to join our team. The assistant Gardener will be responsible for the maintenance and care of the grounds and gardens. This includes, but is not limited to: mowing, pruning, trimming, weed control, watering, etc. This position will report to our Head Gardener.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Maintain and care for the landscape and gardens.
- Weed control.
- Trim shrubs and trees.
- Watering plants and trees.
- Maintain a clean working environment at all times including tools, shop equipment, etc.
- Follow all health and safety standards as required by state regulations regarding pesticides and fertilizers.

**Skills Required to Perform this Job**
- **A good knowledge of gardening required.**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat & cold) throughout the year.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment that requires lifting heavy objects example bags of compost. This position requires strong physical with good balance and good physical stamina with no extended periods of sitting or standing throughout the day. This position requires an individual who can safely operate all equipment including mower, trailer, strimmer etc
- Position is part time over 2 week days, arranged hadhok each week sometimes around the weather but are negotiable.
- Position is temporary throughout the summer/autumn but may become permanent.

Part-time hours: 16-18 per week

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour
