Picker/packer

Responsibilities:

- Pack items securely in boxes or containers according to company standards
- Label packages with accurate information for shipping
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure items are packed correctly and meet quality standards
- Assist with inventory management, including stock counting and restocking shelves
- Operate forklift or other materials handling equipment as needed
- Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing shipments
- Collaborate with shipping and receiving team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

**Skills**:

- Experience in picking, packing, and shipping/receiving in a warehouse environment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks, such as loading/unloading materials
- Basic mechanical knowledge for operating equipment and troubleshooting minor issues
- Attention to detail for accurate labeling and quality control checks
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including materials handling and inventory management

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 60 per week

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- South Brent, Devon (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- South Brent, Devon: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
