Cake Decorator

We are looking for someone that loves cake as much as we do

We pride ourselves in creating high quality, bespoke celebration and wedding cakes. We also make a large range of cupcakes, gateau and small fancies.

We are looking for someone to join our team who is experienced in working with sugar paste, buttercream, carving shapes from cake, modelling with sugar paste and modelling paste. Please take a look at our website to view our work and get an idea of the experience required to fulfill the role.

Your responsibilities will be:

- Dealing with enquiries and taking orders from customers
- Taking payments and till work
- Answer telephone enquiries and take telephone orders
- Advising customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Preparing, filling and covering cakes
- Design and decoration of cakes as per customer orders
- Buttercream and drip cakes
- Finishing off cupcakes
- Quality control
- Maintain the retail and production area to clean and hygienic standard which includes washing up throughout the day
- Maintain a high level of personal and food hygiene
- Any other duties specified by supervisor
- Able to work well under pressure
- Able to manage time and workload
- Able to multitask
