We have a 2 day (15 hour) vacancy for an Assistant Speech and Language Therapist to join our adult SLT service working from Hexham General Hospital.

Main duties of the post include
- Assisting Speech and Language Therapists to improve patients communication and/or swallowing skills of adults in a hospital and community setting, through direct intervention, liaison and joint working with other staff and carers and across agencies.
- To make and maintain therapy resources in order to facilitate intervention programmes, under Speech and Language Therapists’ direction.
- To contribute to patient/client assessment through observation.
