**About The Business**
Mitsubishi Chemical UK is a speciality materials company that operates in four main fields: performance products, Chemicals, Industrial gases, and Health Care. Our inclusive way of working allows Mitsubishi Chemical UK to collaborate with group businesses in the same country to work together across common areas.
**Role Summary**
**Day-to-Day Responsibilities**
- Provide a high standard of administrative service. This includes diary management, arranging meetings and arranging communication events.
- Managing purchase card accounts and ad hoc expenses which are not covered by purchase orders. Ensuring that payments are made to required timescales to maintain compliance with EMEA purchasing policy.
- Coordinate travel, conferences, offsite meetings, and stays for company visitors. Communicating with the relevant accommodation companies to ensure the packages meet the requirements of delegates, providing visa support, and hot desk setups if required.
- A focus on attention to detail when providing document control services for major strategic projects.
**What we are looking for**
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to provide administrative support to site stakeholders.
- Strong customer service skills and customer focus mindset.
- An individual with good initiative and decision-making skills, given the ability to adapt to changes in arrangements.
- Taking responsibility and ownership of individual tasks. As well as being a team player liaising with other site administrators showing good emotional intelligence when required.
**Qualifications/ Experience**
- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration.
- GCSE English and Maths.
- At least 2 years in a previous administrative position, ideally with a focus on travel booking and management.
**Salary**: £24,000 per year plus depending on experience
