**Position Title**:Head of Reinstatement

**Line Manager**:Managing Director

**JDT Group**: Company based at Wimborne, Dorset

**JDT Salary Band**:£62,000 - £65,000 per annum

**Job Purpose**: Accountable to MD & CEO for the delivery of reinstatement operations in direct support of JDT contracts and Operations Groups and specifically the direction, management and coordination of reinstatement department and resources to enable JDT engineering operations to achieve directed targets and goals, whilst ensuring compliance, safety, efficiency and cost-effective utilisation of JDT assets.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. **Head of the Reinstatement Department, and responsible for the direction, management and administration of all its staff (incl HR, hiring, discipline, reporting, mentoring, development, tasking etc)

2. Responsible for the hiring, management, direction and discipline of non-employees / workers such as sub-contractors working for and in direct support of Reinstatement Dept.

3. Coordination with Operations Groups to ensure reinstatement activity is incorporated into their operational plans, and liaison across all internal departments, client and 3rd parties (ie LAs, Highways, suppliers) to enable effective reinstatement, ensuring situational awareness & reducing reactive activity.

4. Oversight of reinstatement plans in support of operational plans, and the management and coordination of reinstatement personnel and resources to achieve delivery.

5. Contribution to the End 2 End planning process from planning, through delivery to closure phases (incl: pre-site surveys, Due Diligence, site visits, resource planning, site clears). Ownership of the R1 process.

6. Fostering a good working relationship with our clients, LAs and third parties at the operational level

7. Achievement of regulatory and client reinstatement timescales and KPIs.

8. Compliance with external (national, client & 3rd party) legislative, regulatory & technical policies and procedures, promoting and ensuring quality outputs and a safe working environment,

10. Ownership of reinstatement budget and associated delivery costs ensuring resources are used cost effectively and labour / material costs are the most beneficial

11. Ownership of reinstatement management information and the reinstatement element of the CtrlHub system, as the primary management tool. Timely reporting of reinstatement performance internally and to clients.
