**Job Description**:
Pertemps Scotland are currently recruiting for several street cleaners for our public sector client to support a busy waste and cleansing department

**Location**:

- Edinburgh West
**Rate of pay**:

- £11.55per hour
**Hours of Work** - Mon to Fri 07.30-15.42 with 60min break
**Duration** - Temporary Ongoing

**Duties to include however not limited to**:

- Cleaning and servicing the Edinburgh City Streets- Sweeping, brushing and picking up leaves- Clearing weeds from all areas of the streets- Assisting with special uplifts- Emptying public rubbish/waste bins around the city- Deal with various bodily fluids- On occasion deal directly with the public in various situations- Heavy lifting of refuse collection and repetitive tasksThe role may require lots of walking in and around Edinburgh for long periods of time.
- Be honest, trustworthy and punctual- Will be given required training and PPE- Have the ability to work with others- Be health and safety consciousDriving licence is desirable
