The post holder will provide a comprehensive clerical, administrative and secretarial service to our Consultant Psychiatrists and the wider CMHT. They will be responsible for providing a variety of front of house activities and being a first point of contact for the service. In addition to this the post holder will be required to demonstrate appropriate computer literacy and data management skills.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Older Persons Welshpool Community Mental Health Team for an effective and organised, Medical Secretary to join our friendly and dynamic Team.

The post holder will provide a comprehensive clerical, administrative and secretarial service to our Consultant Psychiatrists and the wider CMHT. They will be responsible for providing a variety of front of house activities and being a first point of contact for the service. In addition to this the post holder will be required to demonstrate appropriate computer literacy and data management skills.

The post holder will need to have a high level of personal and professional organisation skills, self motivation and flexibility in approach and attitude. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing will be essential along with the ability to work in a collaborative manner with a wide variety of Health and Social Care Professionals, service users and partner organisations.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
