**The Role & Key Responsibilities**

**Job Title: Associate IT Project Manager**

**Location**: Hybrid - (Peterborough & Home Working, on average 1 day per week in the office)

Are you an established IT Project Manager looking for that next step in your career with exposure to a varied portfolio of IT projects?

In this role you will gain the opportunity to work on a broad portfolio of IT projects across infrastructure, hardware/software installation, upgrade, new acquisition and ERP projects with a budget between 10k to 20m.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Manage projects in line with IS standards, processes and governance through all stages of a project life cycle.
- Plan and monitor multiple IT projects, ensuring objectives are understood and met and the Project team understand the requirements
- Direct and motivate the project team
- Take responsibility for overall progress and use of resources and initiate corrective action where necessary
- Manage project scope and change control and escalate issues where necessary
- Resolve cross-functional issues at project level
- Manage project risks and issues.
- Ensure project plans and progress reporting, including timesheets are maintained on Project Online.
- Manage 3rd party expenditure within agreed budgets
- Submit regular Checkpoint Reports indicating any deviations from plan at either stage or project level and any corrective action taken

We are looking for the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

- Ideally achieved a formal certified waterfall project management methodology (e.g. Prince II Practitioner)
- Experience of managing IT projects within medium to large scale organisations with previous enterprise, ERP, digital or infrastructure project exposure.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and build relationships to influence and engage at varying levels across the business
