As a member of the administration team you will ensure a high quality reception and efficient administration service is provided to staff and patients. You will be required to have good written and verbal communication skills as the role entails liaising with staff, clients and other agencies at all levels.

We have one 1 Fixed term position 30 hours per week - hours to be confirmed/ flexible working.

- Answer the telephone, deal with queries relevant to the service and/or take accurate messages, record details and pass on to the appropriate team/individual.
- Assist colleagues in providing and maintaining efficient day to day operation of the medical records to facilitate optimum accessibility to patient records pertaining to the service.
- Provide a carrying, friendly and professional welcome to visitors, patients, staff and service users.
- To show a caring and professional approach towards patients and visitors when carrying out reception and appointment duties
- Collating and prepping patient medical notes where needed
- Liaise with other departments i.e. patient access team, medical records, secretaries etc. developing positive and co-operative working relationships.
- Be able to respond to emotional members of the public/relatives in a calm and professional manner, understanding limitations of role and how to access support.
- Act as a supportive and adaptable team member. Assist in training of new members of the team
