**
TEKsystems is engaged with a financial services company to recruit a Virtualisation SME.
**Responsibilities**:

- Planning ,installation, support and maintenance of the following infrastructure platforms:

- VMware vSphere environments. 15 vCenter instances and 240 hosts.
- Cisco UCS. 10 UCS domains and 2 UCS Central instances.
- IBM server compute platform.
- Nutanix clusters running on ESXi and AHV hypervisors on NX and Dell hardware spread across an ever-expanding 200 nodes and 28 clusters.
- Deployment, management and support of multiple Nutanix clusters across 2 data centers, comprising multiple nodes. Clusters are running both ESX and AHV hypervisors.
- Migration of 350 regression VMs from VMWare clusters on both IBM blade and Cisco UCS hardware across to Nutanix NX based AHV clusters.
- Management and support of vSphere environments.
- Regularly attending CAB for changes documented and submitted for approval and implementation.
- Patching and update a variety of hosts - software and firmware.

**Highly Desirable**:

- AWX / Ansible Tower
- Git, Ansible, Terraform and TeamCity
- Serena Deployment Automation (SDA) and Jenkins
- Kubernetes and Docker
- "Infrastructure as Code” Principles and practices.
- “Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Development (CD)” Principles and practice.
- Agile, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps Principles and practices
- Active Directory, LDAP and Kerberos

**This is a hybrid role with occasional data center visits in various location within Surrey/London.**
