**About Our Client**:
The client is renowned in their field. They are based on a site close to public transport links and operate a hybrid working policy of 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

The Accounts Assistant will:

- Allocation of cash receipts and payments against sales and purchase ledgers
- Daily, weekly and Monthly reconciliations of the bank accounts and cash update
- Assisting in Cash-flow forecast for next 3-month prediction
- Processing of weekly payment runs in all currency
- Preparing for accrued and deferred Revenue reconciliation
- Preparing debtors ageing and chasing overdue invoices
- Monitoring and controlling month end accruals and prepayments and ensuring complete reconciliation processes are in place
- Assisting and prepare Balance sheet and P&L reconciliation for review
- Preparation and reconciliation of VAT monthly
- Support preparation of Financial Statements
- Providing cover for Accounts Receivable, helping on Contract input, raising invoices etc
- Support with Group requirement as and when
- Prepare /Support on Month end duties, processing journals, running reports, reconciliations
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and group stakeholders

**The Successful Applicant**:
The Accounts Assistant will be/have:

- Strong level of technical accounting and good foundation of double entry
- Previous experience of working in financial reporting departments
- Strong level of Microsoft office skills
- Immediately available or on short notice
