As the Health & Safety Officer you will be responsible for reporting to the Managing Director maintaining standards and promoting a positive HSE culture.

**Working hours**
- Monday - Friday (7.00am - 16.00pm flexible)

**Duties will include**:

- Providing advice and support to teams to meet requirements of legislation, ISO standards and company processes & procedures and risk assessments.
- Supporting implementation of HSE Policies to drive improvements and gain / maintain certifications.
- Promoting a proactive approach to HSE management including regular floor walks & contact with supervisors & managers and staff to ensure issues are clearly understood and effectively managed.
- Investigation of site issues, accidents, incidents including production of accident & incident reports and root cause analysis
- Liaising with third party auditors.
- Facilitating the delivery of corrective and preventive actions for significant issues in conjunction with the relevant teams / managers
- Internal Auditing / Supplier auditing with reporting and follow up of findings.
- 3 - 5 year’s working within H&S within a manufacturing facility **(Essential)**:

- IOSH Working Safely **(Essential)**:

- NEBOSH General Certificate **(Essential)**:

- NEBOSH Diploma (desirable)
- 3 - 5 years’ experience working within a manufacturing/production environment **(Essential)**:

- Understanding of ISO 9001: 2015 QMS **(Essential)**
