We are looking for an Engineering & Facilities Assistant, reporting directly to the Facilities & Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the preforming routine compliance activities including temperature checking, flushing, safety shower checks and fire alarm testing. This is a great opportunity to join the team at our Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin Campus in Milton Park, Abingdon.

**Job Title**: Engineering & Facilities Assistant

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £25,000 Depending on Experience, plus an excellent benefits package

**Location**: Milton Park Abingdon

**Primary Responsibilities will include**
- Performing routine compliance activities such as Temperature Checking, Flushing, Safety Shower Checks and Fire Alarm testing.
- Performing other routine facilities maintenance activities as directed.
- Raising requisitions through the company purchasing systems.
- Ensuring accurate, and timely completion of CMMS work (Computer Maintenance Management System), reporting any issues to the Senior Supervisor, Facilities Management
- Ensuring CMMS and other tasks are executed in line with statutory requirements, cGMP and EHS guidelines.
- Ensuring the incumbent remains compliant and suitably trained and skilled escalating the need of any training requirements in good time.
- Maintaining tools and equipment in a fit condition, reporting issues.
- Maintaining the engineering stores, ensuring the appropriate spares and consumables are held at appropriate levels.
- Remaining up to date with the engineering computerised training system.
- Proactively identifying maintenance issues and logging them in the CMMS system.
- Hosting contractors and monitoring contractor activities
- Executing and completing Facilities and Engineering tasks and activities in line with local procedure, statutory, cGMP and EHS guidelines.
