Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Assistant to join their team.

**Duties include**:

- Responsible for the processing of a weekly payroll from start to finish
- Preparing the weekly contractors to be paid each week
- Processing starters and leavers
- Processing SMP & SSP
- Support payroll function by collating weekly timesheets and preparing the master schedule of payments on Excel
- Collating and reviewing monthly timesheets and uploading onto the payroll system
- Updating with changes on a weekly basis
- Dealing with payroll queries
- Carry out ad-hoc work as required in supporting the Finance Team and Head of Finance

**You will have**:

- Previous payroll experience, ideally weekly processing
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables
- Excellent Team Player
