As a labourer, you will be responsible for key aspects of our build from assembling and installing light gauge steel, fitting windows and flooring, and other key jobs required for our clients projects. You will play an important role in the success of our construction projects by using your technical skills and attention to detail to ensure as a team we create a fantastic finished product. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is passionate about construction.
**Responsibilities**
- Perform physical labour helping to make modular homes.
- Fitting windows, installation and flooring.
- Ensure that the job site is clean and safe for others at all times.
- Basic painting and plastering.
- Use of hand tools, power tools, and other equipment needed for construction projects.
- Loading and unloading construction materials.
- Assembling modular builds.
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople, both on-site and off-site
- Ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained and in safe working condition
**Requirements**:
- 1/2 years of experience in the construction industry as a skilled labourer
- Knowledge of construction techniques and tools
- Willingness to work hard as an individual and part of a team
- Skilled with power tools
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Health and safety awareness and compliance, including working at heights and using power tools safely
