Logistics Operatives move, position or place blades, related components, machinery and equipment around the blade facility (internally and externally). When the Logistics Operatives are not performing blade and related components/equipment moves they will be required to support other areas of production as required and be responsible for housekeeping of work area.

Areas of Responsibility:
Follow Siemens safety policy, procedures, risk assessments and quality standards-
- Organise and plan blade/component moves in accordance with manufacturers operating procedures-
- Check and monitor movements constantly ensuring very high levels of attention to detail-
- Ensure safe positioning of people as movements are conducted-
- Perform forklift, Master mover, Linde mover, mobile gantry crane and Oven duties in line with specified training and competency measures.-
- Ensure all relevant personnel are fully aware of the job task prior to commencement of work-
- Responsible for work area housekeeping (internally and externally)-
- Stop the operation if an action is considered unsafe and report-
- Inspect equipment daily and report faultsKnowledge & Skills:

- Experience of operating Master/Linde mover an advantage but full training can be given
- Ability to work unsupervised as part of a team and plan workload to meet production demands
- Forklift truck license (B1/B2)
- Excellent communication skills
- Superb time management and organisational abilities
- Experience of working a shift pattern that includes nights
