**Job Title: Nurture Mentor for SEMH and ASD Support in SEND School**

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you have experience supporting children with complex needs, particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) issues and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Nurture Mentor at our SEND school in Fazakelery.

**Role Overview**:
As a Nurture Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting children with SEMH and ASD within our school community. Your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored support and guidance to help these children overcome challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their educational and personal goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build positive relationships with students, understanding their individual needs and challenges.
- Provide one-on-one support and mentorship to children with SEMH and ASD, both academically and emotionally.
- Implement personalized strategies and interventions to support students' social and emotional development.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's care and education.
- Foster a safe and nurturing environment where students feel valued, respected, and supported.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children with complex needs, particularly SEMH and ASD, ideally within a school or educational setting.
- A compassionate and empathetic nature, with the ability to build trusting relationships with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
- Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude towards supporting children facing challenges.
- Relevant qualifications or training in areas such as Special Education, Child Development, Psychology, or Counselling would be advantageous.
