Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner. As an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of childcare and early childhood education. **Responsibilities**:
- Assist in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Observe and monitor children's development, behavior, and well-being
- Assist with daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and toileting
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a positive and inclusive atmosphere
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery setting
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Follow all policies, procedures, and regulations related to childcare
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is desirable not essential
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
- Ability to work well within a team
