Assistant Greenkeeper

**Sickleholme Golf Club**, set in the beautiful peak district, are looking to appoint a full-time experienced Greenkeeper with NVQ level twoqualifications to join our dedicated team under the guidance of our Course Manager.

The role will be to help prepare, present, and maintain our 18-hole course and practice facilities to a high standard.
- Be experienced as a Greenkeeper in the Golf industry;
- Have a flexible approach to working hours including weekend mornings (on a rota basis); and
- Be personable and hard-working with a keen eye for detail.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Cut tees, greens, surrounds, fairways rough and semi-rough;
- Set up the course including changing hole locations;
- Aerating and irrigating turf;
- Maintaining bunkers;
- Driving a tractor with implements;
- Maintaining trees and shrubs on the golf course with a spraying and chain saw certificate; and
- Communicating effectively.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

- Hope Valley: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
