**Job description**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work as part of Information, Data and Analysis (ID&A) within the Data Strategy Team.

As Project Support Officer you will provide an enabling role for the delivery of the complex data projects and programmes, we currently have underway. You will be responsible for providing a coordination and support function for Data Strategy delivery and for the other teams in the ID&A Directorate.

**Person specification**:
In the role of Project Support Officer, you will:

- Provide project support for the delivery of the Data Literacy programme by helping to develop the offering provided to colleagues and undertake the administration of the Data Skills section on the Agency Learning hub.
- Provide administrative support to the ID&A Directorate Senior Leadership Team (SLT) ensuring that all actions and progress updates are recorded. You may also be asked to record audits and checks to support the Project Based Working function.
- Liaise regularly with key stakeholders to gather progress updates on the Data Strategy and other ID&A projects.
- Use updates to contribute to accurate and regular reporting and presentations to internal stakeholders. These reports will support ID&A SLT in their decision-making around resource, budget, and activities.
- Complete the procurement requests for ID&A and the wider Strategy & Transformation Group.
- Organise meetings, set agendas and take minutes for the ID&A SLT and Data Strategy meetings and for other projects as required.

**Essential Requirements**

We are looking for someone who has:

- A good understanding of how to provide efficient project support. A project management qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience in this area is essential.
- Strong organisational skills and a proven ability to deliver to agreed timescales and deadlines.
- Proven ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities whilst maintaining standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build productive and collaborative working relationships across the Directorate and Agency.
- MS Excel, Word, and Power Point, Teams, and SharePoint skills.
