Head of IT

Job Responsibilities
- The role is responsible for the strategic planning of future IT requirements and guide the firm through the processes of acquiring and training relevant security credentials.
- To provide inspirational leadership, expert strategic knowledge, training and coaching to the IT team.
- To develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- To ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget and keeping the Management Board updated on progress
- To manage the Firm's remote access, telecommunications systems and mobile devices ensuring they are cost effective and fit for purpose solutions.
- Design, develop, implement, and coordinate all IT systems, policies, and procedures.
- Selection and purchasing of appropriate hardware and software
- To ensure that IT business continuity plans are in place to minimize the impact of risk due to loss or corruption of IT systems.

Skills Required
- Previous experience in managing IT service delivery, infrastructure, telecoms and business systems.
- Ability to develop an IT strategy and roadmap, including; implementing new service management services (ITIL).
- Managing a team of technical staff - mentoring, developing and training.
- Hands-on infrastructure knowledge, especially; O365, BC/DR, VMware, AD, Win 10, MPLS Networking
- Previous experience helping an organisation gaining security accreditation - ISO27001 & Cyber Essentials.

This role offers some hybrid/agile working. The role would require some local travel.
