Elgin, United Kingdom Gordon and MacPhail Full time

Hold (minimum) NEBOSH General Certificate qualification or equivalent.

Have previous experience of working within a relevant health and safety role.

Have previous accident investigation experience.

Experience of COMAH sites would be an advantage but not essential.

Have a good understanding of legislation in an occupational safety role.

HACCP experience within a food and drink environment would be an advantage.

Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Possess internal auditing skills and have relevant auditing experiences.

Experience of supporting Environmental and Quality improvements.

Have experience in coaching colleagues in the implementation of safety behavioural programmes, improving culture & encouraging compliance with legislation.

Asbestos awareness (desirable)

Awareness of water management and legionella control (desirable)

Have an awareness of CDM regulations (desirable).

Be a Manual Handling Trainer (desirable).

Hold a Full UK driving licence.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
