Aberdeen Internship - Chinese Social Media

The Aberdeen Internship Programme has operated successfully since 2011. The initiative offers students the opportunity to contribute to defined projects or activities within the University during the summer vacation, within a supervised and supportive environment which helps develop transferrable skills for future work or study.

Aberdeen Internships will offer students who expect to graduate in **2024** or **2025** the opportunity to contribute to defined projects or activities within the University allowing them to enhance their employability skills.

**Projects will comprise of 36.5 hours per week (or opportunity for this position to be on a job share basis at 18 hours per week) for a 10-week period, starting on June 5th, 2023, and concluding on August 11th, 2023. (Flexibility regarding start date will be considered on case-by-case basis).**

Digital marketing has a long-term impact on student recruitment, and social media is an effective tool that helps the university establish a direct connection with our stakeholders. The International Office has built a multi-layered Chinese social media network and use it to engage with the Chinese audience on daily basis. This role is design to create authentic content from a student’s perspectives to enrich the social media content and provide assistance for student recruitment and conversion.

The International Office is seeking interns who are enthusiastic, creative, and motivated to join our Team China. You will work on the hottest topics and generate engaging content for our Chinese social media platforms in your way Your work will be supported by our Team China, and the wider International Office, providing you with excellent insights into the student recruitment sector. If you are passionate about your Aberdeen Experience, can evidence strong content creation ability and want to share that with our prospective student audience, we want to hear from you.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 2, £21,134 per annum.
