The Protection Team Leader will lead the Protection Team by developing and motivating others to achieve targets and perform at a high level.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities **(but not restricted to):

- Understand your colleagues’ individual ambitions, motivations, training needs, strengths and development areas effectively.
- Call Reviews/Coaching - to help ensure that Advisers can be the best that they can be, including adherence to Scripting and Processes.
- Assist to train new team members and develop existing team members by acting as a point of knowledge and guidance.
- Carry out regular Performance Reviews with individuals and put relevant support and training in place.
- Performance Management - setting objectives, monitoring, and taking appropriate action to achieve positive results.
- Where necessary, take corrective action (e.g., via Performance Improvement Plans).
- Review KPIs/Commission/Bonus structures from time to time.
- Work closely with internal Management personnel and structure (e.g., Performance Manager, Client Support Team Leader plus the Directors. Also, the Protection Team Leader will be able to have a rounded perspective from the Company’s objectives to that of its employees.

**Working Hours**:

- 37.5 hrs per week (No weekends)
- Normal business hours are: Monday - Friday, 9:30am-6pm.
- This role is office based, working at The Maltings, East Tyndall Street, Cardiff, CF24 5EA

**Pay and Benefits**:

- Basic Salary of £35,000 with uncapped commission and a proven OTE of £40,000.
