This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Co-ordinator to join the Midlands & East of England (MEE) Regional Consultancy team to support the successful delivery of some major Land, Outdoors and Nature (LON) projects across Shropshire, South Staffordshire and Worcestershire.

Your work will be equally split between supporting two Project Managers, working to achieve important conservation objectives for the region across two portfolios. What it's like to work here:You'll be supporting nature conservation projects focused around three key properties with significant potential for increased biodiversity.
- Dudmaston, a 3000-acre estate 3 miles south of Bridgnorth,
- Attingham, a 4,000-acre estate located between Telford and Shrewsbury and
- Kinver Edge a 600-acre area 3 miles west of Stourbridge

Working on a full-time basis for 24 months, you will be in the Midlands and East of England internal consultancy team. Your contractual location will be Attingham Consultancy Hub, however, you'll be required to work at multiple properties across Shropshire and South Staffordshire. With hybrid working, your time will be a combination of working at our beautiful places, being out and about on site and working from home.

What you'll be doing:You'll be working to equally support two Project Managers delivering our nature ambition across Shropshire, Staffordshire and Worcestershire. Projects being progressed include woodland establishment, natural flood management, and habitat restorations such as floodplain meadows, sandy heathland, and wood pasture.

Providing coordination support for the ongoing LON work in the portfolios, liaising with local and regional colleagues, you’ll organise and administer meetings and minutes, keeping on top of project activity, offering an efficient and effective business support service. Working within the appropriate frameworks you’ll proactively ensure clear record keeping, regularly reporting on the progress of the projects against budgets, schedule and funding, escalating any risks or issues to the project managers to support effective delivery. You’ll support procurement of contractors and co-ordinate the delivery of smaller works liaising as required and ensuring due diligence. Coordinating with the Marketing and Communications colleagues, you will ensure coherent, consistent and appropriate communications of the projects to stakeholders.

Who we're looking forTo deliver this role successfully, you'll need:

- Knowledge of project processes and systems, including procurement, finance and reporting, gained through practical experience
- The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships and manage stakeholders
- Strong experience of budgeting and can collate, maintain, analyse, and prepare data for reporting purposes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Excel and ability to learn and adapt to unfamiliar software and systems
- To be able to multi-task and successfully handle multiple priorities and deadlines, flexibly accommodating competing demands
- To work well both in a team and on your own initiative
