We are a leading private football coaching business renowned for delivering the best youth development system outside of academy football.

Our focus lies in providing exceptional one-to-one individual training and small group coaching sessions to aspiring young players in Wigan.

Our mission is to nurture their skills, instill a love for the game, and help them reach their full potential, both as athletes and individuals.

**Responsibilities**:
Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality coaching sessions to players across three distinct age groups:
**Under 6 - Under 8**: Introducing young players to the fundamentals of football in a fun and engaging environment, fostering their love for the game, and developing basic skills.

**Under 9 - Under 11**: Building on the players' foundation, you will focus on refining technical abilities and tactical awareness, while maintaining an enjoyable and supportive atmosphere.

**Under 12 - Under 14**: Preparing older players for more competitive football, you will focus on advanced skills, positioning, and game understanding, promoting both individual and team excellence.

**Key Requirements**:

- **Coaching Expertise**: A proven track record in coaching youth football, with a solid understanding of age-specific training methodologies.
- **Passion for Development**: A genuine passion for nurturing young talents and promoting their personal growth through football.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with players, parents, and our coaching team effectively.
- **Adaptability**: The ability to tailor coaching strategies to suit individual and group needs, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- **Football Knowledge**: A comprehensive understanding of football techniques, tactics, and the latest coaching trends.
- **Qualifications**: Minimum FA Level 2 Coaching Certificate or equivalent.
- **Child Protection**: A commitment to safeguarding the welfare of all players.

**Salary**:Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 9-15 per week

**Salary**: £15.00-£20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wigan: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Sports coaching: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: In person
