Lecturer: Biology

To carry out a full range of teaching duties and administration associated with the delivery and management of learning programmes as appropriate.

**Qualifications**:
Ideally you should possess a level 6 qualification (e.g. Degree or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, have relevant experience and hold a teaching qualification. You should also hold a level 2 qualification in Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent) and be IT literate equivalent to level 2. Assessor/Verifier Awards would be advantageous.

**Salary**:
Associate Lecturer Scales 1 - 4, £21,506 - £25,380 per annum, pro rata. Main Grade Scales 1 - UP1, £27,382 - £39,357 per annum, pro rata (for qualified lecturers).

**Location**:
NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Neath College to teach at Neath and Pontardawe College).

**Hours Of Work**:
Band A. Annualised hours 699.6 - 835 (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).

**Contract**:
Flexible Fractional, fixed term until 30 June 2024.
