Focus Birmingham are the local charity providing support, care, advice and guidance to all those affected by sight loss and complex needs across the whole of Birmingham.

We are looking for a talented **Marketing and Fundraising Officer** with a creative flair for both digital marketing and fundraising to join our friendly team. This role will be essential in helping to deliver our fundraising targets and to deliver innovative and inspirational marketing activity to help us achieve our mission of _Making Lives Better_.

As **Marketing and Fundraising Officer,** you will help us promote everything we do, and no two days will be the same. Working with colleagues across the charity, you will support and coordinate our marketing campaigns, produce copy and content and update our website, in addition to monitoring our organisational social media accounts. You will also help produce and distribute marketing material (online and offline), plan events and provide administrative support.

Social media savvy and digitally confident, you will embrace our digital-first approach to content creation and communications. You are a strong communicator, producing content that's accessible and has an impact. You will also be a confident communicator able to work effectively with external stakeholders and colleagues across the charity.
Well organised, you're used to working on multiple marketing and fundraising projects. You pride yourself on your attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a busy yet friendly marketing, communications and fundraising team. You will have a good understanding of the fundraising environment (e.g. legacies, digital, community, events, individual donors, trusts, corporate, data).
