Procut Engineering are a precision CNC work & general engineering company who provide tailor made CNC work & general engineering for most materials all over the UK. We manufacture carbide & PCD tipped drills for civil engineering & mining industries. We are the official manufacturers of the world renowned H11 pneumatic jigger pick.

We are looking to add to our growing team.

You will already have an interest in engineering.

A can do attitude and ability to work well in a shop floor team will be essential

Brief overview of the role
You will be learning about the machinery and how to make sure operating is safe and ready to handle its assigned load. You will be learning how to operate CNC machines.

Duties include:

- Setting CNC Machine & operating & labouring when required.
- Perform work by following the company's operating standards and international regulations. Regularly inspects machines for mechanical and safety issues
- Keep a focus on safety by helping others to conduct themselves appropriately around operating machinery. Work a flexible schedule to keep up with production demand during busy production periods
- Pay constant attention to surroundings to reduce accidents and injuries. Works as part of team.

**Salary**: - **Above** **National Minimum Wage dependant on experience**
Working Hours**:
07.00-16.00 Monday to Thursday

07.00-12.00 Friday

**Benefits**:
25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays

Working Days not shifts

Pension after qualifying period - company pays all contributions - no deductions from wages.

**Salary**: From £12.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- s25 4jl: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
