**Essential**
- Level 3 Nail Technology **or** Level 3 Make up Artistry
- Certificate in Education or Equivalent
- CAVA or Equivalent

**Desired**
- Level 3 Make-Up Artistry
- Level 3 Beauty General
- Level 3 Nail Technician
- Level 3 Massage Therapy
- Teach and assess Level 3 Beauty courses and any other courses as agreed with the Academy Manager.
- Act as personal tutor to students as required and to deliver tutorials in line with the company policy.
- Act as an assessor/marker as required, depending on which role is more relevant for the operational effectiveness of the department.
- Maintain course records, and plan schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment plans.
- Pay due attention to the principles of effective learning such as ICT developments, learning styles, equality of opportunity, differentiation and support for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
- Maintain records of progress and co-ordinate reporting to the academy manager.
- Contribute to curriculum development and learning resources.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of developments of the industry.
- Participate, as a team member, in the development of teaching methods and strategies towards an ethos of continuing improvement.
- Present the academy in the best light at all times and ensure that all areas of personal activity comply with standards laid down by the academy and relevant outside agencies.
- Undertake professional development and training to contribute to individual and academy development.
- Carry out all duties with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations.
- Ensure compliance with the Financial Regulations.
- Positively promote equality of opportunity for staff and students.
- Carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time.

PURPOSE:
In line with the continued growth and ongoing company expansion; we are seeking to appoint a number of qualified Beauty Assessor / Trainers to support the Nail & Beauty Academy. The post holders will work across a range of VTCT approved qualifications at both Level 2 Level 3 and have responsibility for the assessment and management of learners who they teach. He/she will work within the Operations Team to ensure compliance with all Awarding Body and funding agencies requirements, he/she will also contribute to quality assurance and focus on successful timely completions.

CONTEXT:

- This post is located within the context of an organisational structure which has been developed to ensure high quality teaching, and excellent learning experience with a focus both on the individual and client work force development for current and future development needs. The programme area will be target driven ensuring the fulfilment of ESFA requirements, Professional (commercial) and workforce development targets as directed by the Senior Management Team.
- To be successful in this role you will have previously worked in the Training and Education Sector as a Tutor /Assessor.

KEY OUTPUTS:

- Manage and monitor individual learner cohorts to deliver a first class offer across both funded and commercial training offers;
- Conduct work-based delivery and/or training as allocated by the IQA team in accordance with the Awarding Organisation (AO) and National Occupational Standards (NOS) for the VTCT Level 3 Beauty qualifications.
- Complete and return all progress reviews in accordance with the current in use documentation. All reviews must contain SMART targets and be clear and relevant to effective progression.
- Maintain quality and compliance of all work undertaken in line with the AO, NOS and policy and procedures of QTS-Global Ltd.
- To monitor the above and act accordingly to achieve targets;
- Contribute to the company quality improvement plan and quality action plan across your area of responsibility;
- Continual development of delivery material for all programme areas of responsibility, including an annual development and review plan;
- Work with the operations team to service External Verification and quality assurance visits;
