**THE ROLE**

The Marketing Assistant role is a launch pad for a career in marketing. As well as being custodian of the central systems and processes used by the marketing team and providing administrative and secretarial support to the wider marketing team, this role will lead on some marketing projects with support from the wider team to give them a firm grounding in the principles of practical marketing.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- Produce analytics and gather commentaries for monthly and ad-hoc marketing reports
- Add, approve, and manage content across British Land platforms, including the Image Library and My Campus Platforms.
- Assist with the production of marketing materials, slideshows, videos, and photography
- Support marketing teams in the organization of various projects, and in time, lead on small design-led projects
- Coordinate large marketing briefs with numerous stakeholders
- Undertake competitor analysis to support activities
- Assist in the organizing of promotional events and, when necessary, attend them to facilitate their success
- Prepare and pull together team papers and presentations
- Track spend against budgets
- Provide general assistance for marketing activities as required.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Prior experience in marketing desirable
- A demonstratable interest in marketing
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Innovative thinker with an open-minded approach to challenges
- Works well under pressure and always remains calm
- Must have an excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be able to use own initiative
- Will be a confident, pro-active, self-starting and highly professional individual
- Some experience working with agencies and printers and an awareness of GDPR is advantageous
- Must have advanced knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Ability to juggle multiple projects, to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
- Confidentiality important
