**The job itself**:
Withernsea High School is located in the pleasant, rural seaside town of Withernsea and serves the population of the town and surrounding villages.

Heads of Year have a major pastoral role in collaboration with the progress team and Form Tutors and under the direction of the Deputy Headteacher. They provide support and intervention strategies in order to meet the pastoral needs of students within a year group.

The post will suit someone from a caring background who has a good understanding of working in an educational setting. Full training and support will be provided.
