Teaching Personnel have been approached by a Secondary Specialist Provision within Darwen to recruit Level 2 Teaching Assistants. The school provide alternative provision for children with Moderate Learning Disabilities. They strive to develop a nurturing cultureof lifelong learning for staff and pupils whilst helping and encouraging pupils to become valued employers, employees and members of social groups and communities and uphold British values.

As a Teaching Assistant within this provision you will work towards establishing a supportive relationship with the children and parents concerned. Encouraging acceptance and inclusion of children with special needs. Promoting and reinforcing the children’sself-esteem as appropriate and acting on these matters as directed by the teacher.

**Expectations

- **Build and maintain positive relationships with both pupils and staff**:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
