**Aesthetic Clinic **chain - Bookkeeper role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented bookkeeper to join our team at Fhenix Ltd, operating several franchise units of Therapie Clinic UK and Ireland’s fastest growing and largest Aesthetic Clinic group. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, liaising and reconciling with franchisor as well as supporting the overall financial health of our chain of clinics. Working closely with the Director, you will be their right-hand.

This business operates on flexible working hours. This is job perfect for someone who can manage their workload autonomously and wants that extra flexibility.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Financial Record Keeping**:

- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple beauty clinic locations.
- Ensure the accuracy of entries in the general ledger.
- Liaising with clinic managers to solve any discrepancies.
- Liaising with external accountant to solve any discrepancies in the accounts.

**Accounts Payable and Receivable**:

- Process invoices, track payments, and manage accounts payable.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy in financial statements.

**Payroll**
- Responsibility for the payroll process using Brightpay (payroll software)

**Bank Reconciliation**:

- Conduct regular bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

**Monthly franchise reconciliation**
- Liaise with the Therapie Clinic finance team and match, reconcile monthly franchise fees
- Check clinic transfers are balanced accordingly
- **Tax Compliance**:

- Work closely with external accountants to ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
- Stay informed about changes in VAT regulations in the UK and implement necessary adjustments.

**Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with other departments and clinic managers to gather financial information and address financial concerns.

**Key qualities and experience **required for the job**:

- A friendly and engaging personality, with excellent communication skills; articulate, professional and sensitive, verbally and in writing.
- Experience of financial administration, preferably with a recognised qualification to AAT Level 3 or equivalent, with sharp commercial awareness and excellent numeracy.
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with UK accounting standards, VAT regulations, and tax compliance.

**Hours and benefits**:

- This is a part-time job, 24-32 hours per week. The work days are negotiable (preference would be Mon - Thurs) and work hours are flexible.
- Remote working - monthly in person meetings in London. Opportunity to work occasionally in our Lakeside clinic or out of our Baker Street, London office.
