**Job Summary**:
**Duties**:

- Driving the Principal and/or the family to business/private meetings/events/school runs etc
- Opening the doors for the clients and guests
- Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient and comfortable journey
- Anticipate any pick ups, drop offs and ensure daily appointments are managed effectively alongside the Executive Assistant
- Assist with loading and unloading their luggage
- Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions.
- Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed.
- General maintenance and upkeep of vehicles including daily vehicle checks and refuelling (main vehicle is a Mercedes V-class)
- Organising vehicle servicing and other maintenance appointments
- Washing and cleaning of the exterior and interior of prestige vehicles
- Assist the family with errands such as collecting dry cleaning, sending parcels at the post office and taking pets for grooming/vet appointments
- Supporting the House Manager with household tasks such as basic DIY and maintenance at the residence
- Supporting the Executive Assistant with business related errands when required

It is absolutely critical for the individual to be discreet and hold the Principal’s confidence at all times. The individual will also be/have:

- A minimum of 5 years driving experience ideally in both a corporate and private household environment
- Clean driving licence with no points on the licence
- Their own vehicle to commute to and from work (ideally live within a reasonable commute of Tunbridge wells
- Reliable
- Polite/well presented
- Professional
- Have the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within the existing team
- Positive, can do attitude
- A courteous kind person to fit within the family environment
- Great attention to detail
- The ability to accommodate last minute changes to schedules
- Flexibility with working hours to meet the needs of the Principal
- Local road knowledge
- Their own vehicle to commute to and from work
- Animal friendly (dogs)
