Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Pre Press Operator to join our dynamic team.

As a Pre Press Operator, you will be pivotal in creating pre-press artwork and cutter files for signage and large format display graphics. Your collaboration with the studio and production teams will be integral to ensuring a smooth transition from artwork to production. Success in this position requires meticulous attention to detail, a comprehensive understanding of print and its processes, and proficiency in industry-standard software (Adobe CC).

Key Responsibilities:

- To ensure that all print and cutter files are ready for printing according to the print specifications.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of all artwork produced.
- Collaborate seamlessly with other departments to streamline and optimise the pre press process.
- Quality control - pre-flight and final proof check of artwork.
- Collaborate with the production team to address any technical considerations or concerns related to the printing and manufacturing processes.
- Communicate effectively with the studio team to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery of projects.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years experience as a Pre Press Operator - preferably with knowledge of setting up artwork for signage.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software. This will be PC not Mac based.
- In depth knowledge of printing processes, colour management, and pre-press procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Knowledge of setting up impositions for roll and sheet media within production RIPs.
- Knowledge of print and plotter software such as Asanti and Onyx would be advantageous but not essential.
