**Trainee Legal Executive**

We are looking to recruit a team of Trainee Legal Executives to work with our Real Estate and Planning teams. Working as a Trainee Legal Executive is an ideal way to gain legal experience and deepen your knowledge of the legal sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with, and learn from, our world class lawyers, on some of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects covering nationally significant renewable energy, transport and water schemes. You will be an integral part of the team, working to deliver a high quality client-led service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working on large scale energy and other infrastructure projects, you will be a vital part of our legal teams.
- You will be drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents and agreements.
- Working across both the Real Estate and Planning teams, you'll get to understand the way both areas work in the development and delivery of major infrastructure projects.
- Responding to queries and updating clients as needed
- Working closely with our legal and client support teams on the administration and management of projects, including file opening, client reporting and billing

**Qualifications and Key Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail is required due to the nature of the work.
- Basic legal training (the successful person will likely have a law degree) to support in reviewing drafting and negotiating land and related commercial agreements and contracts.
- Staying calm under pressure, often working to tight timelines/turnarounds whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders from solicitors, partners, marketing, client support team, legal support and other legal executives
- Interest in learning and researching
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software and online research resources.
