Ground Workers

We have immediate starts available for skilled groundworkers on a major rail infrastructure project in the Dewsbury area.

Duties will be all general civils in a rail environment.

Must have a background with experience of civils / groundworks.

CSCS is essential

PTS is beneficial but training will be provided.

Every applicant must pass initial D+A screening

The role offers upskilling and training opportunities.

Duration is long term and realistically expect several years of secure employment.

Standard hours are 5 x 10 = 50

There is regular weekend and nightshifts due to the nature of the rail work.

Pay rates for experienced groundworkers
- £16.75 first 10 hrs weekdays
- £22.27 after 10 hrs (and weekday nights)
- £25.15 weekend

You can expect £646 after tax for 50 hrs worked + £108 holiday pay

Approx. £808 after tax for 50 hrs night shift + £144 holiday pay

+ 3% employer contribution to your pension

30 days paid leave per year (inc. public holidays)
