Nestled in the Buckinghamshire countryside, Blush is a small (but perfectly formed) digital marketing agency. We're on the lookout for an experienced content marketing consultant to join our growing team and help take our content strategy and production services up a level.

**About the role**

You’ll be working with our digital marketing consultants to help deliver top quality content for a range of clients. Being able to produce accurate and engaging copy is a must, but more importantly we’re looking for someone who can identify industry trends and customer needs no matter who you’re writing for.

Given that our clients are both B2B and B2C, understanding what _great_ copy looks like for businesses of all shapes and sizes will be a huge part of this role. Your responsibilities will include:

- Writing excellent copy that ranges from headlines for digital ads to blog posts, whitepapers, and in depth reports;
- Effortlessly (at least on the outside) switching between working with our varying clients. Whether it’s an e-commerce brand or B2B services company, you’ll be expected to be able to write in a tone and style befitting their brand;
- Working with our team to support the development of content strategies, and coming up with ideas for copy that will make a real difference to a client’s business. We want you to “think” as well as “do”;
- Reporting on progress, showing where your copy has been effective, and identifying any gaps in a client’s content strategy;
- Liaising with the team to improve our content production process. If you think there’s a better way of doing things we want you to tell us.

There’s quite a lot there, but in essence we’re looking for someone who can write great copy and help come up with ideas. If you can do that across a wide range of brands we’ll give you the help and support you need with everything else.

**About You**

If you’re a copywriter with experience working across a range of B2B and B2C brands, preferably as part of an agency, this role is for you. By far the most important thing is that you’re a great writer with a proven ability to write copy befitting a range of formats and styles. We’re looking for someone with:

- A portfolio of great writing;
- The ability to thoroughly research a topic and audience segment, and know how to use that research to produce engaging content;
- A hunger to deliver the best, whether that’s by improving your own skills or helping those around you do better work;
- Be happy working as part of a small team. We’re not trying to grow to a huge agency - it’s unlikely we’ll ever be more than 10 people - so being able to “muck in” is really important;
- An enthusiastic, proactive approach to how they work. At Blush we won’t micromanage you, so being able to work under your own steam, manage your own workload, and meet deadlines is a must.

It would be a bonus if you also have:

- A degree in a related field (for example Journalism, English, or Marketing);
- A broad understanding of digital marketing and SEO.

**Salary**: £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
